ABSTRACT: The impact of virtual labs on vocational training for science careers is substantial, providing students with flexible and interactive learning environments that enhance their practical skills. This study aimed to assess how virtual labs improve vocational training in science, identify the specific skills and competencies developed, and measure student satisfaction with virtual lab-based training programs. A survey design was employed to collect detailed insights from participants using virtual labs in their science training. The sample size comprised 180 students from various vocational science programs. Purposive sampling was used to select participants with experience in using virtual lab technologies. The case study was conducted at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State, Nigeria. Findings indicated that virtual labs significantly improved students' experimental skills, enhanced their understanding of scientific concepts, and provided a safe and cost-effective alternative to traditional labs. Students expressed high levels of satisfaction with the virtual lab-based curriculum, appreciating its flexibility and interactive nature. It was recommended that vocational training institutions expand their use of virtual labs and continuously explore new virtual lab technologies to enhance educational outcomes.
